Goldenfest 2009 was held on Saturday, April 4th at Dog Wood Park in Jacksonville from 1-3pm. Approximately 150 Golden Retrievers and their families from Northeast Florida joined in on the sun and fun to have one heck of a GREAT time…all for a wonderful cause!

The day's events included a Silent Auction (filled with goodies for humans and their pups), contests, photos at the Kissing Booth, kiddie pools for the Goldens to splash and cool off in, drinks and cake, the GREAT Store, and helpful info on the Golden Retriever breed!

Many thanks to the GREAT families and volunteers who give endless hours of love and dedication at Goldenfest, and throughout the year.
